iPhone 5 Expectations and Speculations

December 2, 2011 Posted by admin

Technology continues to advance and rumors continue to spread regarding iPhone 5. This past October people were super excited about the release of iPhone 5, however, it was the iPhone 4S that launched instead with some awesome new features. Such advance in the iPhone 4S led to people wanting more fun and advanced features on future devices. In October claims were made that an iPhone 5 release date is set for summer of 2012.

What to expect? Unlike the iPhone 4S, the casing will be a complete new design as it was previously seen with the iPhone 3G and later, the iPhone 4. Furthermore, with many 4G handsets already existent within the US, the phone will support 4G technology.

Because the current phone has Siri, the personal assistant the phone provides to the carrier, some super cool features to have would be an auto-stereoscopic screen, ability to remote start the car, pump information from your computer onto any screen, and the ability to connect the iPhone 5 to the television set with similar capabilities as a laptop or an iPad.

Rumor has it that iPhone 5 design will be thinner with features like holographic display, 3D video and a newly designed laser keyboard with 4G speed and shatter resistant. Furthermore, speculations are made about an A5 chip processor and a more powerful graphic chip that will deliver higher video resolution and picture images. The phone will continue to have the standard features like iMessage, IOS5, and iCloud that the iPhone 4S currently has.

With new and speedy advanced technology, one never knows what to expect of the iPhone 5, but one thing is for sure, there will be lots to learn about the new device and the accompanied new features.

Google has become quite the household name. It has taken the world by storm thus far and is not stopping anytime soon. Google, the world’s largest search engine, is now taking to the world of social networking. Google Plus is a new social networking opportunity that many think will overtake the majority of social networking websites. As a way to share photos, links, and videos, Google Plus is expected to take the world by storm. Google plus began as an invite-only website in order to test through beta. As a new site, it is not yet an official success. Along with the new Google Plus website, there is a Google ‘plus one’ button spread across the majority of websites. This is a way for your social network to see what you are up to on the web. WDYL, or What Do You Love, is a new feature that bring everything you need to know about a topic in one place. Charts of success, random facts, and products will all show up in a clean webpage. This allows anyone to type a topic, and see random facts, and necessary information about such products. This website is a favorite among the newest projects that Google is a part of. Many people find themselves submersed in learning things about their favorite topics through WDYL. Another one of Google’s latest projects include Google Voice. Google Voice is a new way to limit the amount of calls a person has to make in order to reach someone. Google Voice will use one phone number to ring all of one’s numbers. This includes work number, home, and cell phone numbers. This great tool also transcribes all of your voice-ma

Google Android Pricing Gets Cheaper

September 23, 2011 Posted by admin

The popular Google Android operating system has spread like wildfire throughout the world of mobile phones. It is in use on many phones, and these phones are offered by different carriers with a variety of plan options. These phones can range in price and can often set the customer back by quite a bit. Now, though, there is an Android-based phone that is priced at less than $100, which puts it in the range of “the masses.”

Verizon is offering the Pantech Breakout for just $99.99 (after rebate) with two-year contract. This marks the first time that a 4G phone has been offered at what most people would consider an affordable price. However, that doesn’t mean that the pricing for plans has decreased.

How much will a plan for an Android-based phone cost? That really depends on the consumer. For the required data plan, rates start at $30 per month for 2 GB and go up to $80 for 10 GB. Those numbers, in themselves, are fairly reasonable. Running over the monthly allotment provided by the selected plan will quickly tack on the charges, though; for a 1 GB over the allowance, customers can expect to pay $10. For heavy data users (those who frequently surf the internet or play a lot of games on their phones), even the inexpensive Pantech Breakout may quickly become costly.

As for the phone side of the plans, it again depends on the user. For family plans in which multiple customers share minutes, prices start at just under $70 for 700 minutes per month. The largest plan, which has unlimited minutes, will cost almost $120 per month; however, there is then no danger of running into overage fees (which currently range from 35-45 cents per minute and can quickly add up to hundreds of dollars if left unchecked).
